Abstract: Michael P. Drazin (1968) defined a generalized inverse of an element in a von Neumann regular ring analogous to the Moore-Penrose inverse of a matrix (1954). Drazin inverse of linear transformations in the algebra of linear transformations of a finite dimensional vector space has has found several applications. These applications include solving differential equations, difference equations, and problems on Markov chains. In this talk we shall first give various computational techniques and then illustrate applications through examples.
