Title: Sigma-Injectivity of Modules
Speaker: S. K. Jain, Department of Mathematics, Ohio University, Athens
Abstract: A module is called sigma-injective if an arbitrary direct sum of copies of M is an injective module. Several characterizations and consequences of a sigma-injective module are well-known. We provide a new characterization of a module to be sigma-injective. (This is a joint work with late K. Beidar, and Ashish Srivastava, to appear in Proc AMS)
Note: This event takes place on the Ohio State University Campus in Columbus, OH.
