Hari Shankar, one our former faculty members, died Friday, June 20, at the age of 77 due to medical complications following surgery. Hari was a vital and active member of the community, altruistic, and generous in his support of mathematics and those around him. He also played a key role in the formation of our graduate program. He will be missed by his families and colleagues.
