Coding Theory talks by Faculty and Graduate Students at Bloomington AMS meeting

Sergio Lopez-Permouth will give a talk on a joint project with graduate student Benigno Parra and Steve Szabo will present work related to his dissertation at the upcoming sectional meeting of the American Mathematical Society in Bloomington, Indiana, April 5-6, 2008.

Professor Sergio Lopez-Permouth

Professor Sergio Lopez-Permouth will present "Sequential Codes, a preliminary report" co-authored by doctoral student Benigno Parra at the special session on Algebraic Aspects of Coding Theory at the 1038th meeting of the American Mathematical Society which will be held in Indiana University, Bloomington, IN (2008 Spring Central Section Meeting.) Doctoral student Steve Szabo will present "Convolutional Codes with Additional Structure" (co-authored by Lopez-Permouth) at the same meeting.
