Pramod Kanwar awarded Presidential Teacher Award
Presidential Teacher Award given to Associate Professor of Mathematics Dr Kanwar of the Zanesville campus.
Pramod Kanwar has received Presidential Teacher Award for his dedication and commitment to teaching. The award recognizes exemplary tenured faculty at Ohio University for their excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Dr. Kanwar will hold the title of Presidential Teacher for three years and will receive an annual stipend of $5000 for each of those three years. Earlier in 2004 he was named Regional Higher Education Outstanding Professor.
Dr Kanwar is a Non-commutative Ring Theorist having his Ph.D from Ohio University under the supervision of Distinguished Professor S K Jain and Professor Sergio Lopez-Permouth. He is also a member of the Center of Ring Theory and Applications and has published a number of research articles in the most prestigious journals.
