Professor Sergio R. Lopez-Permouth will be a plenary speaker at the upcoming Groups, Rings and Group Rings 2008 conference that will take place July 27-August 2, 2008, in Ubatuba, Brazil.

Sergio's talk, entitled "Rational Power Series, Sequential Codes and Periodicity of Sequences", will be based on his collaborations with University of South Florida Professor Xiang-Dong Hou and doctoral students Benigno Parra and Steve Szabo.
