located in north of Hangtian Bridge in Xisanhuan of Beijing. It is easy
access to the business center or shopping area. It is 30 minutes drive
from China Century Altar, China National Military Museum,
the Summer Palace, Beijing World Park and
other business zone. The hotel offers Canton Cuisine, Sichuan
noodles with fried brown sauce paste of the old Beijing and pan-fried

The
local committee has negotiated a discount rate, $25-$30 per night,
including breakfast. The registration fee will including
• soft drinks during coffee break of the workshop;
• meal tickets and a banquet ticket;
• workshop program brochure, other workshop
masteries.
For regular participants
(invited speakers are not included):
Before 08/12, please indicate on your registration form
for your
hotel reservation. Please also inform the organizing committee if
you
wish to cancel your reservation 48 hours before your arrival

office of the Department of Mathematics).
2. Transportation
at Beijing airport

the airport (journey time to the city center: 40-60 minutes);
Passengers
should have the destination written in Chinese or indicated on a map (you may download the address in Chinese here)

From airport, by Taxi: 27 kilometers or 35 minutes / CNY80 - 100 /

By Car: Approx 17mls/28kms east of city
Public Transportation:
Bus: The Airport-City Shuttle Bus departs from outside Arrivals and
takes three routes into the city: Xidan, Gongzhufen and Zhongguancun.
The most
popular route is to Xidan in central Beijing, a short walk from the
Forbidden
City.
The other routes are to Gongzhufen in western Beijing and to
Zhongguancun in the city’s northwest district; the shuttle also stops
at major hotels.
Bus: (to/from Xidan, Xichanganjie) - fare: CNY 12
By Bus: Shuttle buses run around clock between China Aviation Building
and airport every 30 minutes. Fare CNY16 / $2 USD
3. Climate
The climate in Beijing is of the continental type, with hot and dry
summers, but the late August is moderate and comfortable. The average
daytime temperature is around 26.
Foreign Currency Exchange
& Banking
The local currency
is Chinese Renmingbi (RMB). Major foreign currencies such as the U.S.
Dollar, Euro, British Pound (Pound Sterling) can be changed at the
airport
or authorized banks. It is possible that you may have trouble in
changing
money into local currency if you bring currencies other than the ones
mentioned
above. Banking hours are 9:00 to 17:00, Monday through Sunday except on
National Holidays.
3.Insurance
All conference
participants are strongly advised to carry a proper travel and health
insurance. The conference cannot accept liability for any accidents or
injuries that
may occur during the conference. Please consult your travel agency
regarding the matter.
