Math 443/543: Mathematical modeling and optimization

Announcements

· The final exam is on Thursday, March 20 at 12:20pm in Morton 218. The exam is comprehensive but there will be some emphasis on the Network Models covered after Test 2. Closed book, closed notes, two sheets of reminders allowed.

· Test 2 is on Friday, February 29 at class time. The topics covered by the test: Simplex Method, Branch-and-Bound, Cutting Planes. The test is closed book, closed notes, one sheet of reminders allowed.

· Test 1 is on Friday, February 1 at class time in Morton 218. The test will include the material covered up to the “Converting LPs to standard form” (page 6 of Simplex handout 1). The test is closed book, closed notes, one sheet of reminders allowed.
